Hey guys finally got me a mustang it's a 2005 gt auto. I've added slp loudmouth exhaust and long tube headers. I'm thinking of tuning it to make it a bit more fun but I haven't really decided which to go with any suggestions? Thanks!

hey Richard a tune and a Cold Air intake combo would compliment your exhaust and wake up your pony.

Congrats on the purchase

I would say yes get a new tune. I would think you would have a cel since you've installed long tubes. a new tune will be able to take advantage of your new add ons. cat back/axle back exhaust wont require a tune. removing the cats will however require a tune. canned tunes that come on the sct3015 can do a lot without a email tune. did you get a tuner/programmer with the car? Welcome to the Forum.

honestly, I wouldn't worry about getting a dyno tune just yet. Brenspeed and other companys can set you up with email tunes for about 150$. cheaper if you buy a tuner from the company, again AM, Brenspeed, Steeda, etc. the problem if you see it as such, is that your stock tune is lost. your car is tuned from Bama for the intake. IMHO it was a dick move on the previous owners part to not pass along the tuner with the car and the stock tune. it would be nice if in the future you ran into trouble and wanted to still drive the car. stock intakes are easy to find on your local CL. other than that, get to wrenching and enjoy your GT.

AM can give you a stock tune. Get the sct x4 not diablo. That auto trans will be an entirely new car with a tune. You will be chirping second and third gears! Congrats on the car.
