Gotta Have It Green price and available
Alright, I've settled on a GT. I would like a 2013 GT. So I called my dealership today and told them to start looking for a Grabber Blue 2013 GT with Shaker, track pack, 3.73's, leather, etc.
So, they called me back about an hour later and said they had something they wanted to run past me. They JUST got a 2013 Gotta Have It Green GT with everything I want on it. The only issue is...I asked for a Grabber Blue.
BUT, as I start looking at pictures of the Green, its growing on me. I think with some black wheels, tinted windows then it would be exactly what I want. I want to take this car to car shows and I'm thinking this car will be the perfect type of car to start with.
So, here are the details. 2013 Gotta Have It Green. Shaker sound system, leather, navigation, 3.73's, one-owner, track package, black over-the-hood stripes. 10,000 miles and garage kept. The guy was a friend of the owner of the dealership and sold it back to them to eventually get a 2016 model. I asked how much they want and they haven't gave me a price yet so I kept pushing. They eventually told me $29k-$30 Out the door but they would check into it and let me know. I said I wouldn't pay over $29k just so I could keep them in check.
Is this a good deal? Would you guys pull the trigger?

I love both GHIG and GB. Not a big fan of the wide black stripes on GHIG, especially the ones on the side (It's obvious it's a GT with the 5.0 emblems on the fenders, why restate it, but that's JMHO). Also, not sure if it is the angle of the photo but the front license plate bracket does not appear to be centered (off to the left)?!? If GB was your original desire, I would wait for what you want and not settle for anything else if you can fight the desire to have a new stang... GOOD LUCK

Personally, I prefer GHIG over GB, but its not going to be my car. I agree with you. Black wheels and tinted windows on the GHIG would really set the car apart. Anything less than $30k for that car is a good deal. Good luck with your decision.

Yeah my first love was the Grabber Blue but that was before I had even saw this color. Its REALLY starting to grow on me. If it was at a car show and all fixed up, I think I'd migrate over to it to look at it rather than the GB. I'm actually leaning towards it now.
If I'm going to get a weekend warrior toy, it might as well be BRIGHT!
Plus, I could always do THIS to it!! (see below)
I agree with the side stripes. I might have to pull them off and put on something like the RTR stripe or something like that.

I will be taking the side stripes off and putting black wheels on it. Any idea on where the best place to get the Shelby style wheels?
Not looking to spend a fortune on the wheels so I can start saving up to make it go faster but I can't stand the stock silver wheels on a green/black car.

$29k out the door sounds like a lot.
I bought my brand new '14 GT/CS out the door for $28k lol
I live in FL, not sure if that matters.
Did you put new rims on? Shoulda just plastidipped the silver rims for now. $25/done.

I decided that Gotta Have It Green just wasn't for me. I wanted something more traditional so I'm looking at a White GT/CS now with a few upgrades. Can't wait to get the deal done so I can be back in a Mustang!
