Default Mustang Rifle Rack

Yep, that title is right.

Here is what I started with:


That's a Shelby shock tower brace and some parts from an old rifle rack mount for a police car. I also got my hands on a new momentary switch and timer from eBay.

Here it is mocked up so I could get an idea of where I was going to have to drill to mount the lock parts.


I drilled out the mounting holes and test fitted everything, and then took it all apart and painted it with appliance epoxy paint.


And now all assembled:


This is how the Shelby shock tower brace mounts into the car:
