Default unstable 06Mustang V6 Base

Hello,

The car is unstable when i go over 70MPH ! its kinda wondering! i have to hold the steering wheel with both hands trying to keep it inside my lane on the highway !
Though the steering wheel or the car are NOT shaking at all.
Whats wrong with her now?!!

Model: 2006 Mustang V6 Base.

I would point you towards the lower tie rod ends or ball joints. get the front end up on ramps if you can and pull on the tie rods and see if there is any play. if you can, remove the wheels and see if you can move the rotor/hub assembly side to side or top to bottom. worn tie rod ends will allow movement on the axis of the hub (a line equal to the strut, top to bottom). worn ball joints are harder to pinpoint until you take the load of the car off them. it could also be worn front lower control arm hydro bushings. if your not so inclined to check the parts yourself, take it to a mechanic/shop you trust. good luck

I bet you are going to find tire wear too. Take it to a shop and have it checked out. BL817 is right, it is probably tie rod ends. In any case it will require an alignment.
