I had to do a double take on your sig photo. Got a guy near me with one just like yours except the fog lights have yellow tint on them and the rims are bigger. Same bumper cover and hood paint style.

I have a v6 (bought it college, couldn't afford the gt), but these are great cars. I love my mustang. Tons of space in the cabin, great engine, sounds good.

I test drove the eco boost twice, I couldn't get into it. It is rated at a faster HP but it just didn't fee like it. Plus the seat felt like it was hugging me and the trunk was even smaller now. Hugging is good for racing, but I don't need that much support to drive down straight interstate lines.

Plus, the ecos pump engine sound through the speaker to make it sound better to the driver....no thanks!

Get a grabber orange! Those are really sharp! And if you don't mind sticks, I would get one. Much more fun.

I had a 2008 GT Premium model that was awesome. My only complaint was the interior door paneling started to peel off due to the heat and the poor glue ford used to apply those panel covers. This is a common issue with these years, so expect to have to repair this at some point and time.

At the time I had the 2008 GT Premium and a 2011 V6 Premium, and I honestly liked the 2008 better, and not just because it had the V8. Car just felt better in all categories, especially the seating.

Now I will say, the 2013/14 revisions are what sold me on the newer cars as they are truly a step up visually and seating comfort compared to the 10-12 models which I didn't like as much.

I like the new mustangs as well, if i had the $ I would already have one. IMO the 05-09's captured pretty well the 60's retro look, plus by buying the s197 you will save a considerable $ if you do your HW. Of course I have never driven an new stang which im sure they are quite nice, the ecoboost would be the one to get since it is different (at least since 1984) also technology wise it seems they are night and day since the new ones have the updated rear axle. my .0002 cents

I have 112k on my 05'. Other than the door panel fabric falling in 07 I havent had must trouble. Spend the money on good adhesive and you will never have to worry again. The same fabric that i changed in 07 is still on my car. I still have the fuel fill problem with a few gas stations that have a quick pour pump.

Of all the 89+ Mustangs, the 05-09 are my favorite. I have an 08, Supercharged, 465rwhp, 458rwtq, it's a beast. Really fun to drive. I like the front of the yotes' but not the rear, and IMHO the 15+ look like some trash from europe.

the yote may be a stronger motor to start, but in the end it all costs the same to get high power. Parts are getting cheaper for 05-09 and lots of aftermarket out there to play with.. plus with people going 11-14 and 15, there are lots of mod parts on the used swap market too

If you're looking for an automatic be aware that the 5R55S transmission can be a bit of a weak area so try to make sure that component is ok. Mine went at 38000 milesm but other than that it has been just a great car.
