Pretty rare car. As I understand it, to turn it into a true "GT/SC" the Shelby GT had to be purchased, and the conversion done at Shelby in Las Vegas post-sale.
To add to what a poster said above, they also offered the 2008 Shelby GT-C... Only 300 made, California only. Again, Shelby would convert to an "SC" but only in Las Vegas (I asked - I almost bought one instead of my Roush. The dealer was selling their new GT-C for $18,000 under sticker when the recession kicked off, but the Roush was actually a better deal at the time).

All Shelby GT cars come thru Shelby automotive in Las Vegas.
In 2008 they made the cars in only vista blue with silver stripes, but then made 314 grabber orange ones exclusively for Southern California dealerships.
