Good point. What about disconnecting the connector on the switch end and running the the 2 or 3 wires needs using those LED connectors to the spare clockspring connector then using the other end in the picture above. I hope this makes sense.

Sorry, not making sense. Spare clockspring connector?

I will probably just splice into the 2 wires about an inch away from the connector in the picture.

The SWI-RC has instructions specific to each vehicle, pertaining to what wires to use, what wire loop to cut, and whether or not to add resistors. However, since my car isn't listed (since steering wheel doesn't have audio buttons), I am not sure how to handle that. I've contacted PAC but they seem unwilling to help so far.

You're probably going to have to find out what resistance the buttons put out for a car that came equipped with controls (2010+ I believe) and then try and match those values to your setup.

I connected resistors via trial and error until I got the buttons to work in my F150.

Default Steering wheel controls

after looking high and low im happy to find someone who has sucessfully accomplished this, i am getting ready to attempt this as well but am having a lot of trouble figuring out what wires i would need to cut and connect from the steering wheel to the module. If you could be of assistance i would really appreciate it.
