Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the CS8 is more rare and has some upgraded features over the GT500. As far as a collector car would go, I think the CS8 is the way to go, but then you wouldn't want to drive it that much and rack up miles on it.

the cs8 is a gt that shelby supercharged and did the interior and body, suspension upgrades to. not really in the same power class as the gt500.

That second car you pictured has had a lot of modifications done to it even after the CS8 conversion. I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole.
