Called a local upholstery shop, quoted $800 labor or $1650 parts & labor. Sound fair?

When I bought mine, the right side of the rear window was pulled away from the top. Negotiated $1000 off the price for an otherwise very good car with under 25k miles. Shopped the local Upholstery Shops and had it done with a new Hartz black cloth top instead of the stock vinyl top for $1400 - that was 5 or 6 years ago so your quoted price is pretty close. But with the other issues and the fact they won't budge on the price - walking away seems to be the right choice.

I just got a quote the other day for a new top for my 2013 GT. $1200.00 installed - I thought that was pretty good.
