Default Hid headlights

One of my H ID headlights is damage is there a way to go back to the standard h13 lightbulb and oem headlights

I went the other way - from factory Halogen to factory HID, and I had to replace the entire harness with a factory HID harness, solder in some resistors, etc., but my system works. I don't know how one would go the other way and make it work though. May be a question for the "electronics" section.
