Default I changed my hub but there's a washer IDK to keep?

Hey guys,

My wheel bearing went out and I saw it was cheaper and easier to replace the whole hub.

I bought the timken hub and 36mm nut, now in the middle of the hub when you slide it back on (idk what you call it) there's a big metal washer thats in the middle but doesnt really sit on anything. The new spindle nut seems to have a washer built onto it as opposed to the oem one coming off. I decided to keep both the washer in the hub and the new nut but I want to do my driver side now (I like to do things in pairs but only replaced the bad side)

I hope you understand what Im talking about but did I do it the right way? Was I supposed to leave the washer in?

Thanks!

if the new nut has an integral washer, discard the original washer and just run the new nut, unless directed otherwise by any literature that came with the new bearing
