(2005) Right tail light and front parking light won't turn off. SJB issue?
So my right parking light and right tail won't turn off.
I unplugged the battery for 30 mins, they came back on after less than 1 min when I plugged them back in.
I unplugged the SJB and they stayed on, BUT when I plug it back in they turn off; for 30 seconds or so.
Is my SJB screwed? I bought this car from a used dealership five days ago.

Sounds like it may be a victim of the leak issue. Check the drains in your cowling they like to plug up and the water spills over into the cabin and the SJB is right there. There's a TSB for it and the 05 cars were the worst for it. Peel back the carpet and see if you see any water marks on the insulation or surrounding areas.

I'm about to go out and check for the water marks, but I did notice it has the white foam cover, which I know is common fix for this flaw. I'm wondering if it had previous SJB damage and the water isn't the root cause...? I'll follow up shortly.

Could have shorted something when it went the first time. Or could have been a faulty reman unit they repaired it with. Also could have been a way the PO doctored it to look like it was done. You can get the foam directly from ford. Also the dealer will have a record of the repair has been performed.
