You can get a plug inside a plug. That way you remove the inside plug to drain and the outside plug is not removed from the pan saving the thread wear. The oil will drain a little slower but who cares.

Will wait a few days to say its FIXED but I do I have a solution for now.

Asked the dealer to try another plug before going the oversize route. They told me that the current plug was not OEM, after they replaced with OEM plug, it snugged and no leak.

Ive been taking it there for at least the last 4 changes, but they ensured me THEY didnt switch the plugs out.....

Will let it sit in gargae for a few days and ensure its leak free.

Thx for the help.
