Default Infamous Passenger Side Leak

I have the infamous passenger side floor board wet. I just need to know what parts I will need and where to get them.

Thanks BWfVA

I know there are more than a few people who have had this problem. I just need a quick list of parts to fix it. I know someone has it or had done the fix and can explain how it is done

I didn't think that there are "parts" needed. Isn't it just take the cowl covers off, pull the gunk out, pull the firewall drain and clean it, then put back together?

^^ pretty much^^
unless you have a leaking cowl grommet like I did.
Then replace the cowl grommets or seal up the leaker.

Depends on the source of his leak. If its the cowl one, then yes, you just clear it out that way. If it's the SJB one there's a TSB that called out updated parts to use.

The firewall drain getting plugged is the most common problem... it will cause water to rise in the firewall pocket and leak inside through the cabin filter housing and on the SJB to end up on the carpet.
On my car, I discarded the damn thing. bye, bye. lol
Also, most folks won't realize this but the rectangle plugs at the bottom of the doors will not allow water to evacuate from inside the door... it will rise inside until it reaches the large openings behind the door panel and water will dump onto your sill plate area and on the floor board.
I have seen this on brand new cars at the dealer lot!!!
Those door plugs on my car are no longer among us. lol
Pay attention to this guys, it is very common and has nothing to do with the firewall issues...
