Need some help with tires - '14 GT/CS in FL weather
I have a '14 Mustang GT/CS (manual) and it came with the tires below:
Pirelli P245/45 ZR 19 98W M+S
My GT is a daily driver; no racing/track or crazy driving.
But I do drive it a lot, about 20k miles/yr. It is not my only car but I figured I am not saving miles on the car for the next person.
Also, my tires kind of look "lowprofile" - like they are aren't big and bulky. I'm afraid I am going to pick a tire to makes my mustang look like a truck with big tires. Is this possible or is that would the size is all about (P245/45 ZR 19 98W M+S)?
I live in FL so snow/ice are not a problem - just heat and rain.
I was looking at these but would appreciate some feedback:
Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+

I live in Florida too and I just put on a set of BF Goodrich gForce Sport Comp-2's (not the all season version) and they are amazing. The road grip and overall performance is well above my expectations. They have a nice aggressive performance look that I like as well. These are summer tires for dry and wet roads but not for cold or ice/snow conditions. Check out the ratings on them at Tire Rack.
