Default Frustrated with choosing an exhaust

Looking to upgrade my exhaust completely(2014 GT).

I want to go 3 inch all the way back. Once my warranty is up I'm toying with installing a Procharger.

Really like the Stainless Works headers. Prefer an H pipe which stainless works doesn't offer for my car.

Thought about going with full SW with performance connection to their cat back. I hear a lot of people talking about lots of drone with this. I spoke with SW and they said people mistake drone for volume.

Ultimately I'd love to have the SW headers, catted H pipe and the American Racing Headers Pure Thunder. Problem is that ARH only offers an Axle Back for the 2014. This leaves a section of the smaller factory exhaust.

I don't want to spend close to $3k and have drone. If I'm spending that much I want an H pipe and not an X.

Anyone have any solutions? Frustration is setting in.

up sizing the exhaust from factory doesnt really gain you anything, the gains from exhaust are made in replacing the mufflers. i wouldnt spend 3k for exhaust on anything. the factory manifolds flow very well , so the only real gain made in buying headers is made by the company that sells them.

I would do axle backs and use the rest towards a blower. Of course, there are quite a few different axle backs to choose from so check out youtube.

The dynos show 20-30 from headers alone. You're saying the blower is good on stock exhaust?

swapping on a roush stage 2 blower onto a stock gt is good for over 700 hp, so yes, the exhaust is just fine

I just removed the rear mufflers and installed glasspacks behind H pipe. Sounds nice and it only cost me 30 something dollars. No drone and a nice deep growl. I can't see myself spending close to 2,000 dollars for brand name headers and exhaust. I might at some point do long tube headers, once they are cheap enough.
