Default GT500 vs. Stock Mufflers

So, I'm looking to get a deeper tone to my exhaust for my 2014, and after lots of looking I stumbled across the GT500 mufflers. I've watched a few videos of them back to back against stock and I can't tell a difference. If you've switched your stock ones out are you satisfied with it? Thanks in advance and drive safe!

I put the GT500 mufflers on my former '14 GT. Those mufflers should've come standard on the GT, IMHO. No drone, louder, sharper & more authoritative bark, especially when you got on them, however they won't **** off the neighbors and you can hold a conversation in the car.

I liked them but would've preferred something w/a bit more volume & deeper tone. Overall though, they were a great compromise muffler and wouldn't hesitate suggesting them. You can find them dirt cheap on craigslist.

Yeah, I have these mufflers and love them. They are not over the top loud but sound really good. Some of the other mufflers I've had were loud just for the sake of being loud. They give the impression that you're trying too hard.

I like mine. If you want a little louder you can remove the resonators, bout 50-100 bucks at an exhaust shop, or $10 if you can weld it yourself.

Plus if you plan on doing a cat delete or long tubes it's still quiet enough to not be rude.
Only video I have you can hear it well.

I'm running the GT500 mufflers on my car and I love them. I also have my resonators cut off and it gives it a nice crackle and pop on throttle lift and downshifts.

This video has me driving through my neighborhood and then around 3:10, I get on it a little:

This is how my car sounds now with more volume of air being forced out of the exhaust!

And a drive-by of my car:

Damn, those mufflers sound great. With the resonators cut off, is it noticeably louder when starting up and just trying to cruise through the neighborhood? I want to get something like that on my '12 but will likely stick with the mufflers alone because if I want to go out and about late at night, I don't want to possibly wake up neighbors.

Cold starts are really loud in my garage but it mellows out nicely. My neighbors say they can hear me leaving in he morning when I head out to car shows. It does add a little volume (not really much) but the main difference is the crackling and popping.

Other than that, once your cruising, it's quiet until you stomp on it!
