I put a PA performance alternator along with the performance wire upgrade on my '06 GT. Have had no issues since. I was getting the DTC's before, that's why I replaced my alternator.

What kind of pa power wire kit did you use on your car?

I think there was probably an installation problem here rather than a bad alt. Sounds more like a wire got crossed.
