Default 2005 mustang questions

I am looking into purchasing an 05-09 mustang gt. I was wondering how many miles they will normally last without major repairs. There is one I'm looking into that is an 05 with a whipple sc system. Is anyone else running this system? How much power are your putting out and have you taken your car to a track for 1/8 or 1/4 mile times?

These cars are generally robust and many will go past 100k miles without needing any major repairs, but much depends on how well the car was maintained, driven, and whether it came with any manufacturing defects that required warranty repairs.

I have a massive 80k on my '05 GT.

Fuel Pump was replaced under warranty, people had been complaining about a minor issue that I didn't think I had, and it runs better and stronger with the new pump.

I had a pinion seal leak and my lumbar support adjuster broke. People complain about the ***** to lean the seats forward breaking. Just in the past week or so I posted on how to fix the leather panels coming loose on the door panels.

All being said, I enjoy the hell out of it every time I take my car out! If I had the money I'd "think" about a newer model, but, it would have to be money that I could totally do without. My wallet has been anemic for long time, I have the CAI and a "tune" other than that, no performance changes. FWIW
