Hi there,

I have a 2009 GT and would like to remove the HIDs that were on the car when I bought it new from the dealer.

I would like to replace them with the standard factory lighting.
(I was quoted $2,000 by the dealer, so I would rather do it myself

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what is involved?

I saw in a video that there is a harness that comes with the HIDs.
Do I need to first acquire a factory harness in order to revert to factory lighting?

I have a pair of factory headlamps sitting here that I got off Craigslist.

That's a first...? If/when you remove the factory HID system, be sure to keep it complete and sell it on e-bay. A lot of people would pay good money for a factory HID system.
