Default Seat Back Release Control Lever Not Working

The Seat Back Release Control Lever on the back of the Driver Side seat no longer allows the seat back to be adjusted. The lever just goes up and down and the seat wouldn't move. It felt like it was just sliding up and down very easily, unlike the normal where you have to pull a bit for the seat back would move forward. The Seat Back Lever **** was replaced a long time ago with a chrome piece. The Seat Back Recliner Adjustment Handle, on the seat near the door, still works.

I check the cable and verified that it still connect to the underside of the seat. Holding the cable, I didn’t feel any movement when moving the Seat Back Release Control Lever.

I am thinking it’s the Seat Back Release Contro( Part Number 62432) either the cable discounted there or it broke completely. Does anyone know how to get to this part, I tried to look at it by taking of the Seat Back Release Control Lever bezel but couldn’t see anything.

Any help would be appreciated
