Bah... I swear, every time you go out for a drive, I'm never out on the roads... I'm still waiting to see your car on the road sometime. :P

Our cars are almost identical, though, if I recall correctly.

Did you get yours from Ron Hopkin's as well, I can't recall if you mentioned it.

Sorry bud, this was about 11pm, seems the time I feel like driving lately is later after the wife has hit the sack. Let me know if you want to meet up sometime, I'll show you her Pony as well.

No, I got my 'stang at Zimmerman in St. Charles. I test drove a Vista Blue 5-speed at Ron Hopkins, but since I have so little experience with driving stick, I decided to give in and get a auto. I didn't want to have to deal with getting myself up to speed on a manual during winter. It was probably a good idea, too, since it started snowing right after I got my car. (day after Thanksgiving) I'm glad I didn't get that manual, honestly. I mean, there are days when I really wish I was slamming gears and such, but that car was almost a base model. The one I have now has ever package I want, and it's in yellow with the black leather interior. A color I've been wanting since I started liking the Mustang. Besides, next time, maybe if I get a GT or something, I'll make sure to give myself enough time, and get the 5-speed.

This really belongs in S&S. But good kill, and I am glad you met one of the cool LS1 guys (we are out there). Since I work in that area maybe we run into each other when the weather is nice, I'd like to line up with you

I hear ya, my wifes yellow one is loaded too but she hates leather so chose a fully loaded Pony with no leather, in my mind a bad idea and she has changed her mind regarding leather since I got my GT. Maybe in a few years she'll upgrade to a screaming yellow GT, we'll see.
