I've noticed that there are a couple people selling the Shaker 1000 subs, amp and wiring harness through classified ads etc. Does anyone know how difficult it is, or even if it is possible, to take a Shaker 500 system and upgrade it to the 1000?

Is the actual head unit any different, does it have the capability?
