Default 2010 Mustang GT can be had w/FACTORY OPTION SUPERCHARGER

No more whining about power! It was rumored that Ford would have dealer installed superchargers but Ford said at the LA Auto Show tonight that they will be factory optioned!!! They will have a 400hp and 500hp version available. Hello Camaro SS and SRT-8 Challenger!!! LINK Also they said that there will be something new reveiled at the Detroit Auto Show, 5.go!?!?

That's great ofcourse but it will increase the cost substantially. We can already buy aftermarket superchargers.

I agree Riptide but I think this is the fix (answer) to those that want the power from the factory with a warranty until the new motors are unveiled at DIA show this January! I craved more power and I am sure it will still not price it out of the market with the S/C options.

Are they Factory warrantied!!! Geez everyone wants the fukin' world with this car. Think about it....for 6k less then a Camaro SS you get 315hp or more when running on 93oct(Car is equipped ecu that adjusts power and depending on fuel used) and for a few thousand more you can hang with a Camaro. Did everyone want 400hp with no price increases?

Yeah we'll see if it's "just a few thousand" or whatever. There are a lot of unknowns still. Including the real world price on the SS when it comes out.

I don't want to hear any more complaining about power. You have to pay to play. You're not going to get a 400 hp supercharged GT for the same price as a current non-supercharged GT. I think it's cool that Ford is offering factory optioned, fully warranted supercharged GT's.

I think the next reveal at the Detroit Auto Show will be the new GT500. I'll be there for sure!

I believe the argument goes something along the lines of how you will be able to get a SS with over 400hp, non supercharged, @ or near the price of this 315hp GT. MSRP ofcourse.

Market factors may have a major impact on that picture in the real world. We'll see.
