Default Ran into a 2010 on the street

So Sunday night I was on my way home from dinner and I pass a bmw 3 series on my right to make a turn, I glance in my rearview and I see mustang like headlights flying up on my left.
I decide to let him pass me because its not the best place go WOT and as it passes on my left I realized it was a Silver 2010 GT with Dearborn, Michigan plates. He flew up the street and I followed without going to fast because there are usually a lot of cops around but he must have been doing 75mph in a 40. Eventually I pass him while he was waiting to turn and I gave him a few revs as I went by. :-P I live in Newport Beach, CA so the Dearborn plates really stuck out, I know ford has a design center in Irvine so I'm guessing that's where he was coming from. Has anybody seen one on the street yet?

Its cool when you see new $hit running around out here. I remember seeing the new Boxster running around in a group of 5 of them back in 96 and I was dieing to get mine. I ordered it in 94 and was 2nd on the list right behind Jerry Sienfeld. Finally got mine 6 months after I saw those 5 playing out here in LA and had to just look over the numerous pix I took of them when I saw them.

I saw one yesterday here in Mission Viejo by my work... it was that Sterling Grey color and I could tell it immediately because of the rims it had. It was crossing the opposite street while I was at the light so I didn't get a good look at the plates but I got a really nice sideview of it and the rear. It had a white rocker stripe and those 19" or so dark grey five spoke rims. I thought it was pretty cool but I didn't even consider it may have been from the Ford design building in Irvine. It very well could have been.

Its crazy how many folks are seeing the new 2010's floating around.

Seems like only a couple months ago we could barely get a hands on spy shots. WTF...

I didn't see one driving down the street but did get a close up viewing of one last Thursday. Ford invited our local mustang club in for a private viewing and breakfast. The one we got to look at was Grabber Blue and let me tell you I was pretty impressed! I definetly think it looks better in person than in print.
