i had a 06..and the 10 is better..i like the new look.. and all reviews are positive especially with track pack..
The reason Ford put the big ol black plastic thing on rear of bumper is so it can be changed out...
Ford Racing as well as after market will have new fascias out before u know it..

All around its a all around better car..

uh, not with a ten foot pole!

Ford is under pressure to build more efficient cars and any big engine will probably have to be released in a limited production. Not that too many people would order a 5.0 in a Mustang anyway.
I just don't get what the big deal is with the 5.0. Is it a numbers game with these cave-dwellers, who are stuck on old engine names?
The 2010 4.6 GT will be available from the factory with the supercharger option for the same price as a limited production 5.0 would be. I'd rather have this than an antique engine, thank you.

Ummmmm.........you DO realize the 5.0 we're all talking about is not the OLD 5.0.......right??? This is not Ford's old pushrod 302 making 215hp. This is an all new 32 valve quad cam 5.0 making around 400hp.........WITHOUT a supercharger. Think Mach 1 engine........only more badass. And while I think a model equipped with this new motor will be more expensive than the current 4.6 car......it most certainly won't be more expensive than a 4.6 GT with the dealer installed supercharger option.

I guess I'm in the minority on this board so don't bash me too much.
Aside from the disgusting rear end, I think they did a pretty good job overall. I especially like the sleeker front fascia and the hood. I wouldn't trade my 05 for it any day but I do like what they've done overall with the new mustang.

On that note, however, I'll be waiting a few years and picking up a 2010 camaro SS

I like it... I think with a few mods it will look even better. Definitely not worth upgrading, but once the new 5.0 comes out... MMMMM

I'm keeping the '07 for the rest of my life... it just has a priceless value to me, but I wouldn't mind a new 5.0 in the garage next to it.

I think ford has ruined the look with the 2010, I cringe on the idea of a green mustang ie wind power Hold on to your cars guys the future is grim for the mustang it will cease to exist as long as we have morons as our leaders like obama.

Just my .02, but I can't understand if you are a fan of the 2005-2009, how could you hate or love the 2010 when comparing the two. I personally prefer the older look but I still love the new one (I'm reserving final judgement until I see a 2010 in person). For example, my favorite mustang is the 1969 fastback, and even though I didn't like the slight modifications they made for the 1970 model, I still loved it, albeit not as much as the '69.
