I'll probably end up making it look good, but I figure it should run well first. 0-50km/h in about 8 seconds, top speed of about 85km/h lol. Kinda pathetic right now. I'd take one of those uglies over this right now.

What's up with the 4.75 = -A from Car Review? Wouldn't a 4.75 be the equivalent of a 95 on a 100 point scale?

That would be a straight A, would it not?

I really liked the new look based on the photos. I finally saw one on the road the other day. I have to say that I was really disappointed. I agree that the car has a Mazda look to it now. It's a pretty car, don't get me wrong. It just doesn't seem "Mustang" now. It lost the edgy muscle car look. It may grow on me over time, but it lost the "wow factor" I remember when I first saw the '05.

Sorry mate, but this don't look like any Mazda I've ever seen.

I think that the Mazda remark was directed toward the fender flares. I saw a 2010 Mustang GT vert at SunFest in West Palm Beach yesterday. There is no distinct definition on the fender flares on the new one (aka new Mazda 6). And I wasn't as thrilled as I thought I would be about the kick up on the rear quarter panels and there was a strange Bangle-BMWish line down the entire side of the car.

I liked the front and the hood the best. The interior materials were nicer, but I didn't like the instrument panel as much as the 05 - 09s. BTW, the 19" wheels look like the perfect size for the S197 (I always thought that 20s looked too big).

Overall, I think Ford did a good job on modernizing the car and it will probably sell good as they will get cross-shoppers from BMW and Infiniti couple customers. But I will stay with my 08 until the next complete redesign comes out in 2014/2015 (with a 5.0!).

Milanarama - You are driving a Mustang and you are an enthusiast. I dont' care if it is a complete rust bucket and has 3 wheels. You drive it and it is the only Mustang you can afford right now. That's good in my book. Keep saving and get another. You obviously won't get anything for your current one so it will be prime to park and restore, imo. Don't let em crush it.

As far as the 2010 is concerned - I kind of believe Ford is selling out a little to all of the Challenger and Camaro fans. The front is Camaro and the rear is Dodge. The hips give it away. On the flip side we have a Mustang in an era that is correctly retro and I think will be collectors soon because Ford HAS and WILL AGAIN screw up the Mustang. They are at a start with this 2010 model.

I would not drive any Mustang newer than 1973 until the S197 came out. Now I have a 2007 and LOVE IT. Not trying to bash on any of you that have one in these eras...just not my taste in what I always thought a Mustang to be.

All in all, even the 2010 will turn my head as does all other years (ok except 1974-79). I just love Mustangs as a whole. G/F has a 2004 GT, I have the 07 GT and we are restoring a 72 Mach1.

I like it. Ive seen it in person and its very nice.

I will probably end up getting one in 3 years though when A. My current mustang is paid off and B. When I finish school so I can actually afford a fully loaded GT. I want to be at a point where I can keep my V6 and get the GT.

Hopefully by then It would have an improved engine.
