I watched the Speed Channel Mustang Test Drive again and was just as entertained.

When it ended, I had this overwhelming urge to get in my Z-28 and go for a spirited drive. Yep, that did it. Satisfied the V8 craving. It's still a hoot to drive that car.

I'm torn between the projector headlights and the regular headlights. I kind of like the headlights on the outside of the parking/blinker lights (standard), but the projector headlights (with the parking/blinker lights on the outside) look kind of cool.

Don't know about tne side stripe but the SS style across the top looks good.
This color would look good with smoked headlights too, despite the white striping you will be doing.

Despite?? U don't like my stripe color choice? I alm already seeing that black is gonna be the color that people use on Grabber Blue if they stripe it.. I gotta make it different or it just wouldn't be me

That side stripe looks too much like one off a Roush. Stick with one more based on past Mustang stripes to win my vote! There are many to choose from! There is a new hockey stick stripe I just saw. Either way I'd go with black on a GT as it seems to match all the black on the underside.

But thanks, ztalon, for pointing out the 2 different headlight looks the new Mustang has. I see now in the brochure that one has the visible twin bar turn signals in board of the headlights, while the other has white lenses over what I assume are tinted led bulbs on the outside of the headlights. Would the latter ones be the HID headlamps?

I don't know which I prefer so would default to the cost factor and say no. To get the HID package (about $500, but no pricing available yet) you also have to get the Security Package( $395).

I think I like the looks of the standard headlights (parking/blinker lights on the inside of the headlights). Seeing that the projector lamps would cost nearly a thousand dollars more makes me like the standard lights even more.
