I dont want to wait 2 months for whats sitting at my dealer.
Well apparently what is sitting at your dealer really isn't the car that you want is it? Its hard to be picky on which color of egg you want out of the easter basket if you didn't dye the eggs yourself... just my 2 cents

Hrm... must have missed this thread. Sorry for the late reply.

All the 1000 does is take up valuable trunk space, in my book.
The NAV isn't perfect, I was told you have to rip your CDs to it individually, but it will add to the value of your car and is just a fun "toy" for a car that could use a few new toys!

Check other posts here for replies from the Ford Engineer dude. Can't recall his user name right now. He gave lots of info on the new unit.
(Username = FordEngineer). Original is my middle name.

Anyhoo, instead of repeating and reposting a lot of stuff on this very topic, let me point you toward http://mustangforums.com/forum/2010-...er-1000-a.html

That might help with some of the decisions. In addition, I post some screen shots in this thread (posts 5 and 6): http://mustangforums.com/forum/2010-...010-v8-gt.html

Hope it helps!

When u use the SYNC "Nav", does ur cellphone has to remain connected for the whole trip, or just used to download the directions? Does that means that non-nav MUstangs have some kind of GPS onboard?
See http://mustangforums.com/forum/6443662-post11.html for more info on how this works (Non-Electronics Package, SYNC v3: Traffic, Directions, and Information)
