I'm trying my hardest to like it, but it's not working. It's just ugly as sin...sorry. The shape and angles on the taillights need to go. The black plastic along the bottom need to go. The dog-dish sized medallion on the truck lid needs to go. If Ford fixes those things, I might find a way to like it. LOL
Yes pretty much what he said!!

Finally found a few minorities who think like me. I think the 10 bumper looks better then the 5-9 bumper.
I think the days of those big bumpers sticking out back is a thing of the past. Looks at cars that have been redesigned within the last year or so. Bumpers are going away.
Another vote for the 10 being the best looking Stang ever!!!
I like the idea of it. The execution - not so much. Issues:
1. The center panel between the taillights being curved creates large panel gaps and make it look cheap. It should be flat.
2. On most cars with black plastic on the lower rear, it is limited to the rear only. On the Stang, it wraps all the way around thhe sides as well. It's just too prominent and obtrusive - makes it look like a diaper as some have called it. I realize they did that to match the black rockers, but IMO it doesn't work.
3. The rear medallion, because of the curved trunk panel, is way too thick and heavy looking. The made an already large and useless medallion larger and still useless.
I do think the angled corners and even the black plastic has potential, but the way Ford executed it looks sloppy and overdone.
You guys are high. The 2010 rear end is hideous. Plastic black lower bumper?? give me a break. You can talk yourselves into it but be honest it is disappointing. The 05-09 rear is a much better and refined look.

You do realize the '05 - '09 GT500 has black plastic along the bottom as well right? So does the new Camaro with the body kit. If ya want to see ugly..go look at that. It's hideous in your opinion and no we are not high...but possibly you are. Your opinions ... although they weren't stated as your opinions ... they were just stated ... can be turned around and used back at you in the same manner ...

Opinion: The rear end is very Acura-Infinity like...not muscular one bit.
Fact: People who like the new rear end are definitely a very tiny minority.
Truth: We're stuck with it like it or not, till the next major redesign...
