Pascal... I would love for you to get a 2010 Mustang to see what you can do with it like you did your current car!! I'll bet it would be just as bad-azz

the dealer in Brandon, FL has sold more 2010's since they started arriving than the 2009 models...so what does that mean?? Absolutely nothing. They offered me a big discount to buy a 2009 but I wanted and will have my 2010 regardless of the money discount.
yea i had noticed that we had been moving quite a few of the 2010s off the lot and we keep getting new ones almost everyday
and just a heads up i saw the detail guys cleaning a 2010 Roush 427R red with black stripes that looked just sexy as hell
Haha, at first I thought this thread was to discus the positives of Fords continued use of the solid rear axle. But since I'm here.....
I do like the rear of the '10s (though I might be a bit biased ). With the smooth sequential tails, the subtle angle to break up the lines, I think it has just enough "sports car" with out sacrificing the muscle.

That may be true, but the "great deals" on the 2009 Mustangs have been around for quite some time now. It's not like they just started offering incentives on them. But for some strange reason, they really seem to be moving off the lots right about the same time the 2010's arrived. Coincidence? I doubt it.
They maybe moving off the lots where you are, but that doesn't amount to a nationwide phenomenon. Every area is different. In some areas the 2010's are collecting dust.....in others the dealers can't seem to GIVE the 09's away (or aren't willing to). Either way, I can assure you that what you're suggesting is not true when speaking in general terms. In isolated cases, sure. But in the majority of cases it's just a matter of the 09's offering a better deal for the consumer's buck.

I don't think they correct times at the 1320 for that......

Um...okay...yeah....you already have an '05 Mustang. Why in the world would they even think you would consider buying an '09 Mustang, even with a big discount? Those guys don't sound too bright! LOL

Umm, because my '05 has 62k miles on it and at one time I was going to trade for an '09. My car has a horrible transmission in it that has been nothing but problems so I dealer knew I was looking to get rid of the car... I was gonna buy the '09 until I saw the 2010. He threw the option out for the '09 because they are trying to move them off the lot and the discounts are pretty deep right now.
So maybe they are brighter than you think

Well, if they could have put you in an '09, then they would have been pretty bright. 62K miles is barely broken in, not worn out. And as far as a bum transmission is concerned, well, that shouldn't be any reason to get rid of a car as far as I'm concerned. Transmissions are easy to replace.
Sounds more to me like you WANTED a new car than needing a new car. But it seems silly to me to get rid of an '05 with only 62K on it for an otherwise identical body style '09. I guess it seemed a bit silly to you too, since you decided to hold off on a 2010 that of course has different styling from your '05.

X2. At first I wasn't sure, pics don't do it justice. But after seeing it in person, next to an 09, it fits the car just right!
