IMO the 05-09s just don't look nearly as good when parked next to the 10. No matter what your opinons are on the styling however, there is no denying that the 2010 is a better car in every way.

Isn't it true in most cases that if you own an 05 to 09 mustang your likely to lean towards the looks and styling of that car over a 2010? I never owned a Mustang much less anything Ford made. Ford's improvement in overall quality and value is what made me make the decision to buy 1. The issues that plagued the 05-09 are all gone in this car. Yes Ford heard the owner complaints and answered with the best mustang they have ever built...Cosmetics alone is not enough a reason to deny this vehicle. The handling the power the sound the ride the inner cabin quality is above average compared to cars in its class...Think about it, we have 280 cu inches and can out run an r/t Challenger with a larger more powerful engine. The Camaro boasts a 100 hp advantage over the mustang gt and can only muster a 3 tenths of a second quicker 0-60 and quarter mile times. the new mustang represents the best bang for the buck of the big 3 muscle cars, and is a better all around performer then the Camaro and the Challenger. You cant make the same statement for the 05-09 Mustang....you may or may not like the styling but overall the 2010 mustang is a better car then its predecessors.

I love the front end of the 10, the back I wasn't crazy about, but it grew on me. I think the more aggressive spoiler on the GT500 or Roush balances the rear a bit. And bang for the buck absolutely! With a few bolt on's and a tune I have been seeing them run in the 12's all day long in 1/4 mile.

From someone who owned an '09 and now a '10 (long story), the '10 is a much better driving and performing car, with a vastly improved interior.....just don't look at my rear! BTW, I absolutely love the front end and side rear quarters....beautiful!

Pretty good "bottom line" statement to me

Also, did you catch that comparo of the O Ten running even with the new BMW M3 on Gingerman's road course? ... I don't think the previous Gen Mustang could achieve that

Guess what, the 2 model years are essentially the same car. The 10's have a slightly reworked suspension setup, and a CAI, aside from that they are almost the identical. The interior is the only real significant improvement over the 05-09s and it is far far better then the previous years.

Not extensive changes, but a lot of well thought out tweeks that add up to road course performance the car magazines are really, really impressed with

I don't think it is an "O 10"...I believe the correct term is a "10" or a "20 - 10"... my reasoning is, for example, last year we didn't say "O O 9"
