As a previous owner of an '05 Mustang GT Premium...I can tell you the first test drive of the new 2010 I was sold IMMEDIATELY. Possibly the differences in handling are not as great on say an '09 Bullitt but it was vastly improved from my '05

wilkinda, I thought the 2010 GT inherited the same suspension as the Bullitt... or is the Bullitt stiffer?

It did inherit it, and then they tweaked it to make it even better handling and riding. Ford spent alot of time with shocks and struts to get the dampening correct for this car

Im gonna have to chime in and say the '10 has a better interior... as good as the 05-09 is, the 10 stepped up. However, you '10 owners can't deny that CHEAP black, unpainted plastic running down the sides continuing to the bottom 3rd of your rear end. The front looks ok, hood is great, the wing choices arent even that bad either (finally rid of the same pedestal wing design since 2001!) but that cheap plastic, rounded off rear end, along with a smaller nose....Just not as intimidating as a 05-09 car. I do wish we had the hips the '10 has.

having owned an '05 Mustang as well i can say..IMO that the rear of that car was flat and boring..never cared for it. The 2010 isn't the best either but the rest of the car more than makes up for that short-coming.
Personally i think from the front and sides the 2010 looks much leaner and muscular than the '05 I had

I liked the '05-'09s, but always left me with a "meh" feeling.
Then Ford restyled it for 2010, and I bought one. This design did it for me. MUCH more agressive, much more retro to my eyes.
I've owned 6 Mustangs, from 1965 to the 2010. I owned a fox, an SN95, and a New Edge. The '74-'78 is my least favorite, followed by the '05-'09. Sorry guys. The 2010 changed just enough that I love it. Plastic and all. Rear and all. I love that they brought back the sharp angles on top of the fenders, like the New Edge has.
I agree with wilkinda, the back end of the previous years look flat and boring.
