Default VORTECH H.O. SUPER CHARGER W PICS AND DYNO SHEET!

Ok, Its been a month sice I have posted anything. Thats because my new 2010 Kona Blue GT has been at VORTECH's headquarters in Oxnard CA getting its new H.O. Supercharger. My car was 1 of 3 used as a test car for there new High Output kit. The car was in Ca for a full 4 weeks to get the charger and custom tune job. This kit have the optional "Charge Air Cooler" too! They guys at Vortech were awesome and im glad I had the factory engineers do the install. As I look under the hood, I am amazed how much work they had to do. Everything is not where I left it. They had to move th radiator coolant reservoir, the power steering tank and so much more. I see they had to cut into the front lower fairing to install the Charge Cooler Reservoir tank.

Now tho the important stuff. I went from 238RWH @ 6338 RPM to 371 RWH @ 6305 RPM. From 258ft-lb @ 6338 RPM to 328ft-lb @ 6305. The only other mod I had was a set of Magnaflow Cat back exhaust. So I figured I gained a 133hp, and 70ft-lb.

Another thing I like is that they (I Believe) removed that stupid tube that pumps engine noise into the cabin. It was nice until I got the new exhaust but then the car was too noisy as I drive A-LOT of hwy miles. Its just perfect inside now!

Well, now I need some new tires and rims, and Im good to go!

Could be a low producer from the factory. My car w/an intake and tune only made 265rwhp. Brenspeed told me some of them are just kinda dogs for whatever reason and are down a few percent on power right from the factory.

Looks pretty bad azz! So Vortech toasted your tyres? Looks like they left it pretty clean! Any chance you could edit your post and put your pics under each other?
