Ok guys, have my Roush Exhaust on the way, no its time to order a CAI & Tune.. I've been lookin at the stuff the Steeda Guy posted about their new package, unfortunately there is not much to read about for them for the 2010's yet, but I did read a lot of good stuff about the ones for the 09's and back. CAI's I'm looking at. JLT, C&L, and Steeda... I don't know a lot about the Steeda tune, it wouldn't be much difference to order a Steeda Intake (assuming the prices are close to the older gen) and a Breenspeed or Bama Tune, as opposed to ordering it in the package. Any suggestions? Experiences with older Steeda packs?

Buy what suits your wallet and eyes. Those you mentioned plus most other tune-required CAI's are equivalent in performance. Disregard dyno comparisons since you can do multiple pulls with the same CAI and get much the same results any of the comparisons got.
Bama and Brenspeed both write excellent tunes. Pick one.
By "best" I mean best performance wise.. I know you can't trust these website on actual TQ & HP gains.. And I have heard good things about both Bama and Breenspeed, but I was wondering more about the tune that comes from Steeda and if anyone had info on that and how it compared.

IMO, stay away from the shops that don't always write their own tunes. Best to go with the shops like Brenspeed, Bama, VMP, Evolution, Tillman... You'll get quality tunes and quality tech support. If you're still not sure, call any of them and talk to their tech guys. They've all been very straight-forward and generous with info to help you decide.
I've had a couple recommendations for the JLT CAI's.. but I don't really know anyone who has had one, I like the Steeda ones too, Nuke how did your Steeda jump you hp and t

I will have the C&L CAI and Bama tunes this Tuesday and will give a review with pics and a dyno later in the week.
I picked the C&L because IMO it looked the best out of the other CAI's. I picked Bama after sending a few emails to them and a few other companies that write their own tunes....they had the best responses.

I haven't been on the dyno, either stock or after the CAI & tune, BUT... there's no reason to believe that my Steeda would outperform or underperform compared to the JLT or the BBK or the C&L or the... get my drift? The tune is 80% of the power adder of the combo so you could get ANY of the equivalent CAI's but suffer from an inadequate tune.
But I have to repeat what 99% of those that get a CAI & tune say: That it really wakes up the car. Stock, I'd drop it into 3rd at 60MPH and go WOT and she'd pull nice. After the CAI & tune, the back end would try to come around.
I don't think we will get most of the power from the tunes like the 05 - 09's did. A few dyno reviews show most of the power to from the CAI. This is why I want to get on the dyno and see how the manufactures claims stack up.
C&L got 10whp & 9wtq from their "no tune" CAI, with a tune it only picked up 4whp & 4wtq. So their total gains were 14.97rwhp & 13.79rwtq for a CAI and tune.
Ill be waiting to see your results. I have the Roush OR exhaust, and my next mod is going to be cai/tuner combo. I am leaning towards the JLT combo but its pricey.

Are you puking the manufacturer's claims?
When will you kids ever learn?
