Default 2011 Mustangs

Is anyone going to wait for the new mustangs? When the new engines come out they will make the V8 mustang pretty much worthless! I was planning on buying a 08 Mustang Gt but when I saw the new interiors I fell in love. Then I read about the new engines and the 3.7 liter v6 will most likely have 315 hp. So now Im going to wait for 2011 Mustang Pony. Anyone else gonna wait or trade up?

I plan to wait.

However, another option is to see what you can get a 2010 for in the spring. Probably a great deal can be made when the new car shows up. Add the the Roush S/C for the 3 year warranty and you have the same power for possibly less money. There will be no deals on the new one for a while.

Cheers.

I didn't wait because I personally don't believe all the rumors. Until Ford formally announces the new motor I won't believe it. If they do then I'll just slap on an edelbrock supercharger and call it a day. I'll experience the wonders of the 5.0 later on after I decide to buy a new Mustang. Also I wouldn't trust the new motor in its first year. I'd want to wait for it to be on the road for a few years before I'm sure that the motor is as sturdy as the 4.6ers.

I'll wait at least untill 2013, meanwhile I'll enjoy what I have. Who says you can only have one Mustang? Mustangs are like wives, I've had a few of them!

The coyote 5.0L is just the street version of the 5.0L cammer engine that has been run in the Koni challenge cars for several years. IF the new mustang has any 1st year quirks, it wont be with the motor.

See now, I just don't buy this. Nobody has any real information or data one way or the other on this new engine, or even if it actually hits the Mustang in 2011 and now we already know its true roots?

The Ecoboost engine is not a rumor in fact Ford already put a 3.7-liter V6, in the 2010 Lincoln MKS. The EcoBoost provides a rip-roaring 355 HP twin-turbo V6 that'll get 24+ MPG.
Now all they have to do is put that same engine in the Mustang V6 and I would most likely buy one!
