Default HID upgrade from STANGMODS

If any new 2010 owners wished they could have gotten the HID light when bought car and is thinking about getting the ones from ford, save your money and get the ones from STANGMODS, do the fog and headlights, package deal is better, but the direction can get you just a little bit confused on the fog lights, where they tell you to hook up black wire to black wire, red to red, well the 2010 fog light have a black wire, and a black wire w/ a yellow stripe, plug the black wire from the STANGMODS connector to the one w/ yellow stripe, and the red goes to plain black, i will post some pics in MY GARAGE i'm having a learning curve here host to attach pics to threads, say i have no rigts to do that. but lights work great, go to your local inspection stayion after, easy to adjust, in my pics you will see where i mounted ballst. find a long 7 mm hex wrench to adjust lights, clockwise makes them go up.

the photo are uder photo gallery, i show right , lrft, and fog ballast mounting, get some of the big 24" zipties from Lowes, gives you more flexability for mounting, did not have to remove fog grill, but i would tuck something uder the gap of grill and bumper or you will have to live with scratches like me, you ca tilt the grill fogs take longest i found twisting new bulbs in place is tight hard to twist seems.

You can't go wrong with HIDs. After driving with them it's hard to go without them. I got mine for 320 bucks total for both headlights and fogs (headlights have high and low beams as well).

I've had HID's on my previous cars and they are addictive. That being said, I personally don't like the factory implementation on the Mustang with the headlights swapping location with the marker/turn signals.

I find the lighting from the regular halogen headlights on the car are pretty good, quite good with the fogs on.

I went with the 6000K kit from STANGMODS. They were great to deal with and the kit was quite easy to install.
