I finally splurged and went over to Tillman and bought an SCT tuner with 3 preloaded tunes. I saw on here the Tillman All out Tune is amazing, so thats what I opted for.
The 1st tune I asked for stock, and 2 & 3 I asked him to do it with some bolt on upgrades I plan on doing in the near future.
So on the to do list,
CAI Kit
4.10 Gears
Short Throw Shifter
Large Throttle Body
Underdrive Pulleys
So here's my dumb question, how does the tuner work. Plug it in and follow directions or what? Would I benefit from an O/R X pipe or something, Not sure how that works with NY's vehicle inspection.

Yeah with the car off plug it in and follow the directions on the device.
Off-road x-pipe should give you about 15whp & 15wtq, but it will be alot louder. There are a few ways to get by the CEL but if you have visual emission test you will fail.
The only upgrades you have listed that need tuning is the CAI and the TB. You can change the settings for the gears yourself on the user options. The CAI will most likely be dependant on which intake you get.
