The actual piece is solid, but after installing it, I think the manufacturers rushed it out with no thought in quality fitting. They are advertised to have detailed instructions! Nope the detailed instructions consist of 3-4 sentences and no pictures. Also no support on their site either. Thank God I can read!

I think the problem is that its supported by only two screws where four would of been more secure. The way it's designed is for the provided screw clamp to clamp on to the back roof of your fascia which is the hard plastic(Hopefully that makes sense). The problem is the screws are located in the mid area of the grille, but the back roof is about 1-2 inches higher. So it'll be easy to start screwing it in, but it will get more difficult as it starts angling upward. I started to lose thread on the screws which pissed me off and on top of that, the grille where the screws were started to scratch revealing the silver shaving caused by my screwdriver!!! The lower grille is secure but still has a little movement, which sometimes I worry about.

I think the best way to install this item is to take of the front fascia first and then you'll be able to secure it better because you'll have access to the rear of the roof. It does match up real well with my front grille so i'm happy with look, I was just pissed off at the horrible instructions, build quality and also the install.

Looks I'd give 5 stars
Everything else 1 star

Does it use existing holes? Or do you have to screw into the fascia or anywhere else? I don't know if I'd want to put holes where they weren't in the first place.

They're are no need for drilling at all. The grille is clamped on by a screw and j nut.

I was thinking of protecting the radiator fins that are down there more than anything else.

@Afoust50
yeah my grille is the roush one and it's a great upgrade!

@Wise_jonny
It wasn't too expensive and I wanted it to match the roush so I got it and they both look good together

How was the install for the Roush? I love the way it looks but I hate the idea of having to sacrifice my fog lights. So they match up pretty well? I think this is the combo I wanna go with
