Since Oct 7th I have been really enjoying my new 2010 Mustang GT.
The car performs better than any expectation I had. This is my first American car since I bought my first new car in 1972 (Fiat 124).
As great as my Mustang drives, the cockpit is an equally great environment mostly due to the electronics package. As an engineer and gadget guy, this thing is the cats meow!
Sirius, Nav, Voice command, phone, CD/DVD player (it even plays DVD-Audio!). The only thing it lacks is 5.1 playback capacity.
But the neatest thing is Jukebox. The 10 Gig HD that allows you to burn CD's with a capacity of over 2,500 songs. No more plugging in mp3 devices. My Mustang is a tire smoking iPod!
But I pose a question for those fortunate enough to have this hi-tech app:
I can plug a USB flash drive (4GB stick) into the USB port and it plays mp3's with no problem, but it does not recognize my USB 250GB hard drive (WD Passport).
Has anyone tried this? Has anyone been able to get a USB hard drive to work? Is there a limit as to how much memory a stick can have for the unit to read? I tried an 4GB stick with no problem.

It can only read USB devices that are FAT32. I'd guess your 250GB USB hard drive is NTFS formatted. You'll probably need to download a utility to format it to FAT32 as Windows usually won't format USB devices from NTFS to FAT32.
I formatted the drive to FAT32 using a utility that came with the Western Digital HD and it was easily recognized. It just took a few minutes to index all the files, but playback was flawless.
I use a 16GB memory stick with no problems(other than not remembering what Artists/Songs are on it).
It's a bit of a pain but you can use the "Menu" button in combination with the "tuning" knob to scroll through the contents of the USB drive. Can't remember all the selections, there are several, but they are fairly intuitive.
