I noticed on your window sticker is says "Method of Transp: RAIL"

I input my VIN and it generated my window sticker. Mine says "Method of Transp: CONVOY"

Does anybody know what this means? My dealer is in California, I would think it would have been transported via Rail? What does CONVOY mean?

I found it by googling "track my ford" and was led to a Ford Fusion message board. They linked Blue Oval news, and in one of the forums, some of the members that are Ford Employees offer a friendly service. I guess this forum also has subforums for employees only.

Not not make you jealous ...

Mine cam 4 weeks early, Delivery data was Dec 1st, and they called me last Friday that it is here. Sad thing is, I did not have things ready to pick it up, will take me another 3-4 days.

^^Similar thing is happening to me. I was told 14 Dec for delivery (8 weeks) when I ordered my car. I stopped by the dealer yesterday they said my vehicle has been released from the manufacturer. Estimated time of delivery is now 14 Nov and could still be even earlier. The line must be moving along well these days.
