Yes. They drone. I have model 16574 and they drone at 2000 rpm. New Maganflows take about 500-600 miles to break in and as they do they get louder. The stock exhaust also drones at 2000 but it is so quiet you may not even hear it. The Magnaflow drone is alot less than the Roush system, however.
I have found some people, like my wife, have had ear problems in the past which makes them unable to hear certain low tones. I suspect people here who say they don't hear any drone at 2000 or that is is not bad with, for example a Roush exhaust, have had this problem or just don't know what drone is or they love the sound and to them it is not a drone. And some people are more bothered by drone, like me. I have a hearing problem so the drone effects me alot more than an average person. So bottom line is the Magnaflow drone but you may not be bothered by it.
