I love the 19" if for nothing but the looks. Heck anything smaller and these cars start to look like a 4x4 (which can be solved with lowering, if your willing to do that).

Also, the dark 19"s go really well with my Candy Red stang

My 2006 had 18" polished fanblades and when I got the car in 2006 I thought they looked HUGE. For some reason the 05-09 body style works well with 18" wheels. When I got my 2010 it came with 18"s and the did not look right at all. They look tiny with respect to the styling and proportions of the rest of the 2010 body. Once I put 19s on there, things looked much better, and more in proportion. The weight of my 19s and tires is only 1 lb more than the the stock set up. My ride quality, mpg, and acceleration weren't affected at all. However, braking and handling improved dramatically.

Bigger wheels used to allow for smaller aspect ratio tires. That lead to better handling. This was way back when, when getting 15s or 16s was great.

I am sure there must be a break even point, where getting the wheels bigger doesn't lead to better handling, only looks.

Larger wheels fill out the wheel wells and look good. ;-)

Oh, I have the 3:73 rear-end as well so I am not complaining at all about anything with this car
Congrats on your new 2010 GT!!!

I think Ford has done a nice job with the 19-inch wheel options for the 2010 model. Personally, I would go for the 19's on looks alone if I was getting a 2010. Also, I'm not sure if all 18's will fit a big brake package.

I would love it too!!!

I am curious......what differences do you feel with the 2010 compared to your other Mustang? (both positive & negative, if any)

I can honestly say nothing negative about the new 2010 compared to the 2005 I had. Oh wait..I have the Premier interior and that aluminum shifter **** will scorch your hand if the car sits in the sun....

Positives:
Handles better stock vs stock
interior quality better
ride quality is better (even after having lowered the new 2010)
paint is much better. Not sure about yours but the front end on the 2005 just seemed to chip way too easy and have wear at the edges
tranny is MUCH better, this thing shifts so much better
the car is super quiet compared to the old car

that's just my first impressions after 2k miles
