I think you're all missing a key thing about the OEM HIDs. they are a completely different design. The projector headlight is on the inside near the grille and the turn signals are on the outside. I think it gives the car a dramatically different look. standard headlight is opposite with the turn signals near the grille.

I have the perfect 2010 GT Premium picked out but the only thing it's missing is the HID's. the more I look at them the more I want them. I was hoping I could just add them later by buying the parts but obviously don't want to do that at $2200.

Look at My Garage under the Photo Gallery, I got my TRUE HID's from StangMods, few hours to do it your self, you can see where I mounted the ballast, I have a 2007 CTS with HID and the brights are regular, these are HID High and Low beam and nice and bright, I got the Fog and Head lights for 449, great upgrade.
