Default Pics: Honeycomb Tail Lights / Hood Pins / HYBRID Logo

I recently added some new stuff to my car. Pics below.

First, the HYBRID lettering. I did this as more of a joke than anything (attempt at humor). I get a lot of crap from people that drive hybrids here in this area. So.... I decided to pi$$ them off by adding these letters to my "loud as hell" mustang. I like the way the SHELBY letter look on the back so I decided to do it in the same way. And, HYBRID can be interpreted in many ways. Not just gas/electric

Second, I added hood pins. Not real ones. The "appearance" kind from American Muscle. I know, mixed opinions will be had on these, but I think they look good.

Third, I added the honeycomb tail lights (vinyl overlay) from Rocky Mountain Graphics. Installed easy and they look great.

Pics below:

The honeycomb looks good...im kinda torn on having the hood pins if they aren't functional...seems kinda dumb to me to have them if they aren't really doing what the real ones are intended for...but thats just my 2 cents...

and i think you should totally **** off any hybrid driver...the more you do the better!

Did you have to pull the tail lights to install?

Nope. I just sprayed the tail lights with soapy water, applied the decal, squeegied the water out, let it dry, then pulled the tape off, then squeegied some more. It was very easy.

I know what you're saying with the hood pins. I just like the way they look. I know they're not functional. I may end up removing the lanyards.

I guess that can be said for a lot of "appearance" mods (side scoops, etc.)

Not a fan of the hybrid letters but the rest looks cool especially those honeycomb overlays that rear shot makes your wheels look nice and fat to good job man. btw when are you going to paint your lower grill to match? That would really tie the front end together imo

Yeah, I really do need to paint the lower grille. It's such a pain though. I would have to remove the lower grille, cut out all of the honey combs (like I did with the upper grille), and then paint it. Cutting out those honey combs is the hardest part. Very time consuming! But, I'll end up doing it sooner or later.
