I never liked the fact that it sits on top of the cowl...If that option was done right it should be attached to a flat hood and functional.

Visually I think the scoop does a lot for the GT fascia. If you note the general triangular shape on the base as it works up to the cowl. The scoop is a great cap. I think the V6 front is VERY strong in it's circular/oval front and doesn't need the scoop as much.

I'm a fan and ordered mine with it.

I've been going back and forth with it. The front end looks awesome where the vent is, but the noticeable crack along the side where it connects to the hood looks a bit cheap.

How does it even attach? Is it just glued on or bolted somehow?

Both and yes it does look cheap, and you can see all the lines, please avoid this. Get the shaker if you want something cool and functional.

If you like the way the hood scoop looks, then buy it. You don't need other people's opinions when you're the one spending the money on it

Unless something is functional I keep it off the car. To each their own of coarse.

So just how functional is the shaker? It does look awesome, but does it really do much other than look really cool?

Well it doesnt do a whole lot as far as performance, sucks in a little more air I guess, but it really looks cool when it shakes when you step on it.
