I have to ask, and please, everyone, keep the flamethrowers in the closet, but you've put a lot of money into your Mustang, OP. Why didn't you buy a GT as the base platform? That way you wouldn't just have a Mustang that kind of "looks" fast, but really is kind of fast. Just a general query. I'm not trying to bust your chops or insult you.

That same exact question was already asked of him in this thread. Please read his response to Scapegoat
I have also put enough into my car at this point where I could have bought a GT. But at the time I didnt have the money, and also I would only be able to have a stock GT, I much prefer my car over a stock GT.

It's ok, I'll go ahead and answer this again..... GT does not equal BETTER. More horsepower..... yes.... I can tell you that I paid more for my V6 than a lot of GTs out there. Price was NOT an issue when I bought my car, just like price isn't an issue now. I like the front of my V6 better than the GT (fog lights down low instead of in the grille), I wanted a convertible and the V6 I bought was the only one on the lot..... Every single mod that I've done to my car, EVERY SINGLE ONE, I would still have done if I had bought a GT. None of my mods were to "try to make mine like a GT". I can tell you right now, my car is MUCH faster than when I bought it, and faster than some GTs out there. That theory has been proven more than once. So, in closing, I love my V6 and don't judge how cool my car is by the size of the engine, horsepower, etc..... If I wanted a GT I would have bought one..... How would you feel if everyone asked you..... "Man, for all the mods you've put into your GT, why didn't you get the Shelby?" Doesn't make much sense now does it? I know you're not trying to insult me, but you have no idea how many times I've been asked that question.
That is a sweet a$$ paint job, well worth the risk dd. I know you want to get some shots of it in daylight, but i bet at night that thing will look saweet!
