Default Install Instructions

To take the old mirror off, just tilt the mirrors up and in as far as they go. Then stick a screwdriver about dead center on the bottom between the plastic backing on the mirror and the motor and the glass pops right off (clean out any bee hive you might have in there like i did!). To replace the mirror, just angle the new glass in the same position, and press in the center until it clicks in. Done. 2 minute job, just be careful not to break the glass.

Do they vibrate any more than the 2010 mirrors?

Also, I heard there is a little piece of metal that it used to prevent the mirrors from vibrating that doesn't fit the 2010. I have subwoofers in the trunk. Does anyone know of something to do to stop them from rattling as much? I was thinking of lowering the trunk leverage so it closes tighter and leaves less room to rattle.
