Default F-O-R-D Letters on Hood

When I added an Edelbrock E-force supercharger to my 2010 GT, I wanted to add just a little something to visually tweak the car. It's already a beautiful car so I didn't want to ruin that in any way, but in my mind the only thing missing was a call-back to the 1960's. So I installed 1965-66 "F-O-R-D" hood letters.

I used a Dremel to cut the pins off the letters and grind the posts flat. Then affixed with 3M 2-way acrylic bonding tape (cut with an X-acto knife), using a cloth tape measure and painter's tape to guide the positioning and alignment.

A "Supercharged" badge is from a Saleen:

The Edlebrock E-force supercharger kit, rated at 466 RWHP at 5 PSI of boost with standard exhaust. I have the Magnaflow Magnapack exhaust installed and it sounds sick:

Car looks good. Did you install the supercharger yourself?

not sure it fits the car, but if you like it, thats all that matters. Plus with forced induction you can silence any haters after the light turns green.

I love it. Looks great.

I'm more interested about your impression of the Edelbrock

Not really a fan of the letters/badges, as I prefer a clean/stealthy look. But it is your car, so nice job personalizing it. I like people not knowing mine is blown

Also, just a heads up that the 466HP rating is at the crank and is NOT rear wheel HP. Most of these base kits are putting down ~395RWHP/TQ. With a custom dyno tune (since the canned tune sucked), my base kit is at 422RWHP.

funny story, used to have a 95 buick lesabre, the hood had the letters b-u-i-c-k on it. the "I" eventually fell off and i broke pieces off the "B" to make it an F...
