I have Roush Exhaust there is a little drone here and there but if I adjust speed or gear the drone is gone. with the windows up it is pretty quiet and easy to talk but it is loud. Here is a video of mine with a couple drive by's and a launch and the end. I absolutely cannot get enough of the sound.

I just got the Corsa Extreme Axle Backs yesterday,
and they sound great IMO. A lot louder then stock,
and no drone.

The roush system is not raspy at all. Im not sure what car you have listened to that sounded like that.

I have a 2010 GT ' Vert and the ROUSH is a pleasure to listen to...

I has a nice rumble and when you get on it...well the radio can be off as far as I am concerned...

It is also an auto...and on bigger overpasses....as quick shift to neutral and a quick step on the gas pedal...ahhh...it is still fun to listen to even 6 months of having it on my car....see D'Agostino Racing for for one of the best prices around on the 2010 OR cat back systems from Roush....

The pops and rasp others have posted about MAY exist if you rev continuously up and down in Park or Neutral...but in gear....no such thing happens on my car.....
